Twenty Years Later
August 2, 1987 - August 5, 2007

We made a trip to Guerrero for their 20th anniversary.  The first Sunday in August, 1987, we had our first service of the Iglesia Bautista Calvario in Guerrero. We started out with 2 ladies and saw the work grow to over 100.  We turned the work over in 2002 and the pastor is Raúl Mayorga - a good man of God.

Few Missionaries have the experience that we had.  We were able to take 40 with us from the church here in Los Mochis across the 14 hour drive through the mountains. It was such a blessing to see the two churches mingle for the 6 days.  The trip has also united our people as never before.  Below  are pictures from the trip.

God has been so good to us.  We were able to live in the mountains of Chihuahua for 15 years, see several works started and then move across the mountains to the pacific coast to start again.  Our goal is to start churches that will start churches.  Since we left Chihuahua in 2002, there has been another two churches started and a building built for two more (all by the work of the nationals)  God has blessed.  The apostle John stated it best when he said: "I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth..." 2 John 1:4.

We covet your prayers.  I have never seen God work as He is here in Los Mochis.  He is going to raise up a great work here.  Let's get in, and be a part of it.
