Jerry and Marty Collins are Independent Baptist Missionaries that were commissioned and sent out of the First Baptist Church, Milford, OH in 1981. All financial support and offerings can be sent directly to their home church.

Jerry & Marty have many things in common from their childhood. Both were raised in Christian homes in rural America, both were led to Christ by their mothers (Jerry at the age of 6, and Marty at the age of 7) both dedicated their lives to the Lord as young people to serve as Missionaries.
At 16 years of age, Jerry felt the call of God on his life to serve God in the field of Mexico. Jerry was on a Mission trip with Bearing Precious Seed led by Bro. Carlos Demarest and his father, Bro. Verlis Collins. From that time on, his goal was to get to Mexico. Jerry and Marty met while he was in Bible college. Marty was studying in nursing and became an R.N. Jerry finished his studies at the School of the Scriptures Bible College, where he received his Bachelors and later his Masters degree.
In 1980, Jerry and Marty were married. The Lord has blessed them with four children. In 1982, Jerry and Marty resigned their secular jobs to begin the full-time ministry raising their support to go to Mexico.
In December, 1984, The First Baptist Church of Milford, Ohio, where Dr. Charles Keen was pastor, commissioned and sent the Collins family to Mexico. The year of 1985 was spent in Querétaro, México in language school. From there they moved to Chihuahua, México and spent the next year helping and learning from Missionary, Les Garner.
In 1987, Jerry, Marty & family moved to the remote mountain city of Guerrero, Chihuahua. For the next 15 years they established the Iglesia Bautista Calvario. During those years they, with the help of others, also began another four mission churches reaching into 15 towns and villages. In August, 2002, they organized the works and Bro. Raúl Mayorga is pastor of the main church.
The Collins family now resides in the coastal city of Los Mochis, Sinaloa. In January, 2004, they began the Iglesia Bautista Fundamental. Daniel is married to Sherah and now reside in Denver Colorado. Jennifer has moved to Blanchester, OH. She is living close to her grandparents and family. Christopher has felt the call of God on his life and is currently preparing his life at West Coast Baptist College. Angela, our youngest, is helping Mom & Dad at home.
